Welcome to
Yoga for Health
As well as teaching classes, I recently established Yoga for Health Community Interest Company with the aim of taking yoga to some of the most vulnerable in society.
I can remember the first time I entered a yoga class as a teenager. I was enthralled by the practice and how it made me feel. It went beyond the physical body, impacting my breath and mind too. A trip to India some years later had me absolutely hooked.
I embarked on the British Wheel of Yoga Foundation course and moved on to the 400hour Level 4 Teaching Diploma, graduating in 2012. I am incredibly blessed to have studied with some wonderful teachers over the years and their influence forms part of my teaching today, combined with my own practice and experience.
Yoga is one of the most constant elements of my life and has been here for me through thick and thin, good and bad, happy and sad. Having felt so many of its benefits, met so many wonderful people and had multiple life enriching experiences because of Yoga, it is my privilege to share it in some way with my local community.

Yoga Therapy
A unique way of improving your health & wellbeing through the bespoke application of the practices of Yoga. You don’t need to have any previous experience, just a body and a willingness to nurture yourself.

Testimonials
Amanda, Cwmbran
“I have worked with Kate for many years now, in her Friday morning class, restorative yoga and in Yoga Therapy. I enjoy her classes and get a sense of peace after each one. Kate provides online access for those who can’t get to the class so you can still do your practice. The restorative yoga is mainly chair based so it’s accessible. The poses are cleverly adjusted so the benefit can still be felt. It’s a friendly group and enjoyable class. On a personal level, Kate is caring, friendly and approachable.”
Sue, Cwmbran
“I started my yoga journey when retired 11 years ago & for most of those years Kate has been my teacher. Her classes are extremely therapeutic as she includes all aspects of yoga – yogic postures, breathing and philosophy. Kate teaches in such a way that you only take what you personally need. No one needs to be concerned about age or experience as Kate offers a warm welcome and ensures you practice safely. I would recommend everyone to take up yoga with Kate.”
Annette, Griffithstown
“Kate has been my yoga teacher for over a year and has a wonderful, calm presence. Her classes are fun and full of connection to the body & the breath. I have also been very fortunate to have experienced one to one yoga therapy with Kate which was very healing and profound. This helped me to release stuck emotional trauma that was so deeply embedded inside me, I didn’t even realise it was there. I’m eternally grateful for that amazing session and the shift in consciousness that followed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a healing session with Kate.”
